Air conditioning calculation or refrigeration calculation
When buying our new air conditioning and before going to assess and compare the dozens of brands that exist today, with all its models, features and prices we should take a few minutes to calculate the refrigeration or power needed for the stay we want to air-condition. This calculation can be done in a very simple way thanks to the calculation of frigories online using the calculator of frigories that we make available to you free of charge.
What do we need?
What we will need to make a correct and simple calculation of frigories will be the dimensions of the room to air-condition, either a room, a dining room or a whole house and our climate zone, being a simplified calculation of frigories will not be necessary more data.
1 – Measure the room to be air-conditioned, measure its width, length and height (the height is very important since the total volume depends a lot on it).
2 – Select the climate zone or type of climate of the place where you plan to install your new air conditioning unit, to do this use the climate map below (if in doubt between two zones always select the higher of the two options or the one with more heat load).

3 – Enter the data in the cooling calculator and it will automatically show you the recommended minimum and maximum data for your new air-conditioning unit in both cooling and watts which you can then use to get down to the tedious business of finding the air-conditioning unit that best suits your needs.
